Apple picking.

Adam and I talked about going apple picking 100 times last fall and never quite got our shit together in time to do it. So, when we had access to a car (one of the things we miss most about CA) on our recent fall getaway, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to throw on our flannels and partake in another basic fall activity. The weather even showed up for the occasion, and it was perfectly brisk and wonderful. In the Zabel-Wirdak household, we live for our weekends. And fall. And getaways. So we combined the lot of them and spent the weekend in Pennsylvania, seeing the changing leaves, drinking mulled wine, eating apple cider donuts, and being otherwise basic. It was magical.…
